Here’s a fun easy paper craft project for the kids:  feathers of thankfulness.

  • Just cut a large circle out of brown paper.  Glue a second small circle of the same brown paper and glue on top.
  • Cut out a triangle for a beak out of yelow or orange paper or craft foam.
  • Draw cute eyes and outline the head.
  • Cut out multiple feather shapes out of construction paper or other craft paper. Keep ready for every morning to write on and glue….

Every day in the month of November the kids write down what they are thankful for and glue or tape it to the back of your turkey.

If you have more than one child, write multiple thoughts per feather. By Thanksgiving you will have a very full feathered turkey.

Wishing you all a most blessed and happy Thanksgiving!
