review: Thieves Foaming Hand Soap
Love the Thieves line so buying their refillable foaming hand soap was an easy choice. But would it really foam up and be nice to wash your hands with ?? If you’ve read my other YL posts before, I’m not a blind follower of YL. I really want to know if these products are what others say they are. They are not cheap so they’d better be worth it right?
WHAT YL SAYS ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
Thieves® Foaming Hand Soap will cleanse, defend, and condition the skin with the therapeutic-grade essential oil blend Thieves, pure lemon and orange essential oils, aloe, Ginkgo biloba, and vitamin E. Dispensed as a rich foam, Thieves Foaming Hand Soap contains gentle ingredients so it can be used often without drying or stripping the skin.
IMPRESSIONS
- smells fantastic – just like the Thieves essential oil – lemony, cinnamony, clovey…. warm and homey
- the bottle is a perfect size for your counter – not too big, not too small
- is it attractive on your counter…. ehhhh, not really but not worse than any other hand soap you would buy and not put in a nice decorative option
- the pump is large and is easy to use
- does it foam…. YES !!! TOTALLY !!!! It’s light, fluffy, white, foamy and yet the actual soap is a slightly yellowish clear liquid
- not greasy, washes off perfectly
- cleans your hands
- I love knowing that when I’m cutting raw chicken….. and I wash my hands at the kitchen sink – they are CLEAN
- the scent is light but does make your hands smell lovely
- doesn’t dry your skin
THE ULTIMATE TEST
OK… who where has had the dreaded stinky kitchen sponge that someone didn’t fully squeeze out stink on it – and you touch it… and you just CAN’T get that smell off your hands. Only the dishwasher cycle can get that smell out of the sponge. I’ve experienced this and hate this…. dish soap is not even enough to get it off your hands. Well, the Thieves Foaming Hand Soap GETS RID OF THAT SMELL the first wash !!!!! Love. Ditto for grease… ie bacon fat. Cuts right through, gone, no stinky grease smell on your hands.

WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN?
YES! I originally bought the 3-pack of hand soap with pumps so the next time I just bought the refill bottle. I love that I can just refill the small containers. I love the smell, it works wonderfully and contains no hazardous chemicals. When you refill be careful not to fill to high… my first refilling wasn’t very foamy that way.
